Driving towards the center of downtown CDO is my usual routine for my business transactions. It is not a short drive because it takes me 26 kilometers from Alae proper to my destination. Travel time varies according to traffic. To save time, I avoid the usual congestion at Barangay Puerto by using the Balubal bypass road towards Agusan.
As you pass through this Balubal road, you are surrounded by a lush green rural setting. It’s a good time to open your car window and feel the fresh breeze.
Going downhill near Teakwood Hills, you will be treated to a breathtaking view of Macajalar Bay.
Be careful on this narrow road. It’s where I had a serious accident that damaged the front side of my truck.
